Parking Lot Smile - From video art to wearable color.
We’ve teamed up with Malmö-based POW to turn one of our video works into something a little different—a pair of earrings. The colors are pulled from Parking Lot Smile, a 46 second video piece we created in Ystad, Sweden, where floating spears drift above an empty parking lot. Surreal and slow- like most things that matter. The piece was originally shown as a large scale projection at Liljevalchs Vårsalong 2023. POW has translated it into lightweight, limited-edition earrings that pop without pulling.
The Earrings
POW makes all their jewelry by hand in Malmö, Sweden. Every pair is assembled by them—no factories, no shortcuts. Their slow fashion ethos fits us perfectly. Medium size weighs about the same as a credit card, and the material—vinyl—is soft on the ears but loud on style. Made in Sweden, like they should be.

The Art Print
The art that inspired the Parking Lot Smile earrings is, of course, part of our collection as an art print with the same name.
It’s a still frame from the video Parking Lot Smile, capturing a quiet moment of a face in half-smile—somewhere between soft focus and side-eye. The print is available in three sizes printed on Hahnemühle Matte Fibre—thick, soft, and slightly textured.
The Video Art

Originally shown as a large-scale projection at Liljevalchs Vårsalong 2023, the work loops endlessly—calm, strange, and a little hypnotic.
